Welcome to our Attendance Checker service! This service ("Service") is provided by Arun & Priyanshu ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you ("you" or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

The Service is a tool that allows you to provide your official college username and password to programmatically access your student portal. It then fetches your attendance data and returns it to you in a JSON format.

2. User Authorization and Consent

By using the Service, you expressly authorize us to act on your behalf. You grant us the full permission and authority to:

Use the username and password you provide to log in to your Samarth(dcrustm.samarth.edu.in) student portal.
Navigate the portal's web pages as necessary.
Access, retrieve, and download your personal and academic information, including but not limited to attendance records.
Send requests to the Samarth(dcrustm.samarth.edu.in) servers as if they were made by you.

You acknowledge that you are providing us with your login credentials for this specific purpose and are solely responsible for keeping these credentials secure on your own devices.

3. Data Collection, Storage, and Usage

To provide the Service, we need to handle your data. You grant us the unconditional right to:

Store Credentials: We may store your username and password on our servers to facilitate future requests or maintain sessions.
Store Fetched Data: We may store, in any form, all data retrieved from your student portal, including your attendance records.
Duration: We may retain this data for any duration, at our sole discretion, even after you stop using the Service.
Usage: We reserve the right to use the stored data (both credentials and fetched information) for any purpose, including but not limited to: analyzing trends, generating aggregate statistics, improving the Service, or any other commercial or non-commercial purpose.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. The data provided by the Service is only as accurate as the data on your Samarth(dcrustm.samarth.edu.in) portal, and we are not responsible for any inaccuracies.

5. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification

Your use of this Service is entirely at your own risk. In no event shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to, academic penalties, suspension, expulsion, data loss, or disciplinary action taken by your college resulting from your use of this Service. You acknowledge that using automated scripts to access the college portal may violate your Samarth(dcrustm.samarth.edu.in) IT policies.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Arun & Priyanshu and their affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service.

6. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including your breach of these Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
